Diesel Black Gold S/S '10
Diesel Black Gold is the perfect pair to the regular Diesel
collection which always includes leather used in many dif-
ferent garments and in different ways. This collection is
simple and yet it includes items that are must-haves. The
one button black and white suit with the sheen to it is great,
although you may have seen this style of suit before, the
tailoring, sheen and use of white gives it a whole new look.
I also like the yellow blazer alot, the cropping in the front
and the back coming down more gives you the idea of a
tuxedo with tails without the dressy feel.
Bally S/S '10 Preview
Low-key and neutral in terms of color, Bally's Creative Director,
Brian Atwood addresses fit in a well-tailored timeless fashion that
has helped earn the label their noble reputation. Classic workwear
gets a simple and proper update, but still keeps its rugged masculine
feel with the simple use of suede.
Alexis Mabille S/S '10
Alexis Mabille said he wanted a line that was dressy, but at the
end of the day, very casual and easy-going. He accomplished
his goal with relaxed pieces that changed the norm in a reason-
able fashion by tweaking minor details such as a curved lapel,
suspenders intentionally worn backwards, crystal buttons, robe-
like coats or simple trousers in a silk oriental print. Mabille’s
collection is simply chic.

Balenciaga S/S '10 Preview
Nicolas Ghesquière phrases Balenciaga's spring/summer 2010 collection
perfectly as “construction compact” — suiting that is!. Ghesquière has
been the creative director for Balenciaga since 1997, when he was only
25.
Tim Hamilton S/S '10 Preview
Bringing sheer and translucent pieces center stage, Tim Hamilton is
sure to fit right in with the other designers that have debuted amazing
collections for the Spring/Summer of 2010.
Louis Vuitton S/S '10 Bag Collection
Even if you do not like Louis Vuitton's clothing, you must
admit their collection of bag's is always on point. There's a
bag for every day, outfit, occasion and bags that fit different
styles/professions. You have the duffel for those who like to
travel in style, the backpack's for those that roam the streets
or those that like to be incognito when traveling, the briefcase
for the business man etc. etc.
Dior Homme S/S '10 Preview
With relaxed suits being the main focus, Kris Van Assche de-
signed nice garments for his fifth season with Dior Homme. It
seems like we'll be seeing linen jackets, summer sweaters, light
and airy trousers and some harem pants. I can't wait to see more.
Yves Saint Laurent S/S '10
Although Yves Saint Laurent passed away, by looking
at the collections that followed his death, you would
never know. Stefano Pilati keeps the collection in Saint
Laurent's mindset while still added a twist of his own.
The collection shifted toward japanese and still managed
to land right back into paris. The mix of silhouettes and
fabrics add on to the success of this collection.
Hugo Boss Orange F/W '09
I always had a thing for the thick sweaters with the winter prints on them and for the upcoming season, Hugo Boss Orange delivers the classic prints on updated sweaters. As well as a suede jacket with a sheep skin lining and a nice wool peacoat with a shine to it.
D&G S/S '10
The theme over at D&G for Spring/Summer 2010
seemed to have been an old western. The collection
included denim shirts as well as denim jeans featured
in a variety of washes and also with rips, wide uptur-
ned lapels and snug tailored waistcoats, Embellished
shirts and jackets as well as an array of boots.
I'm Obsessed with the first look.
Dsquared² S/S '10
Another one of my favorite designers, Dean and Dean Caten of
Dsquared² always deliver a great collection. Although Dsquared²
always display their love for creating high-end camp wear and
extremely tailored suits, the collection always seem to come out
looking different from a previous Dsquared² collection which may
have had the same theme. I cannot pick a favorite out of the looks
I've posted.
