Pretty Young Girls

Chanel Iman, Arlenis Sosa, Sessilee Lopez and Jourdan Dunn were photographed by Emma Summerton to appear on the cover of the September 2009 issue of I-D Magazine. I'm loving the makeup which was done by Mathias van Hooff and the simple styling which draws more attention to their faces. I really love this editorial because it features 4 of my favorite models. Whoever did the casting, did an awesome job!

“Tendenze In Divisa” Editorial

Photogrpahed by Marcelo Krasilcic, Megan McNierney is featured in this editorial entitled “Tendenze In Divisa” which appears in the September issue of Italian ELLE. Megan plays a high-fashion stewardess of the 1940's-50's that just landed from the time period off her spaceship home. I don't think I can say enough times how much I love the 1940's-50's fashion.

Milla Jovovich for Harper’s Bazaar Russia

Photographed by Igor Vishnyakov and styled by Natalia Alaverdian, Milla Jovovich is featured on the cover and in an editorial inside the September issue of Harper's Bazaar Russia. This is another editorial inspired by 1940s-50's glamour. I love it all but the beaded dress in the second image stands out to me the most.

Alla Kostromicheva for Interview Magazine

Photographed by Craig McDean, Alla Kostromicheva is featured in this editorial which appears in the September issue Interview Magazine. I love the styling of this editorial though I do not know who it was done by. My favorite's are the pink coat and the Louis Vuitton shoes in the last image.

DMPC x Cassie F/W ‘09 Look Book

Dimepiece Designs chose Bad Boy recording artist, Cassie as the main model for their Fall/Winter 2009 lookbook. Photographed by Brooke Nipar and styled by The Ladies Of Dimepiece. I like this look from Cassie. Ever since she cut the side of her hair she has changed her overall style around for the better and this lookbook shows a style that I think she should embody. It truely fits her.

The Making of V Magazine's 61st Cover

I previously posted the covers of V Magazine's 61st issue (September 2009) which featured 19 gorgeous models. Here is the video of how the models came to life as Pagan's (country dweller's, villager's) complete with flowers, insects, slabs of serrated flesh and blood. Watching the behind the scenes video of editorials and cover shoots is always better than seeing the actual cover for me.

"Absolute man" Editorial

Photographed by Satoshi Sakurai and styled by Tsuyoshi Noguchi, Ash Stymest is featured in this editorial entitled “Absolute Man” which appears in the October issue of HUgE magazine, Japan. All of the garments in this editorial are from Balmain's first Homme (Men's) collection. Balmain has moved up on my list of favorite designers really fast in the past year. I have always like the label but now it is definately one of my favorites.
