Many people believe that model's cant be designers but who better to come out with their own collection than people that get a hands on feel of the best pieces made?. Supermodel Kate Moss has just been awarded the Dress of The Year Award by the Bath Fashion Museum for the 1940s-style long-sleeve dress from her Christmas collection for Topshop.
“She is quite a new departure in fashion history—a model with a very distinct sense of style, which she has applied to one of the leading high street chains, with massive success,” said Rosemary Harden, manager of the museum. “As a fashion historian, I’m glad this has been recorded.”
Previous Winners include::John Galliano, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Giorgio Armani.
