Mark Ronson has designed a number of shoes for Gucci, one of its most high-profile fans. Mark collaborated with Frida Giannini on several styles of Gucci Ronsons for the brand's upcoming series of sneakers-only pop-up shops, the first of which comes to the Soho neighborhood of NYC on October 23rd. The three styles the brand is previewing include a chukka, a deck shoe, and a more traditional sneaker. Avid kick collectors will no doubt want them all—but since a new style will be released at each new pop-up on the tour (currently planned to include London, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo). Gucci will also be releasing 18 other exclusive sneaker styles, 16 for men and 2 for women.
“A new Gucci Ronson version will be introduced at every leg of the itinerant project. Icon-Temporary sneakers are priced from $500 to $1,400, and Gucci Ronson shoes, $500 to $600.”
In case you do not know: Mark Ronson is the son of writer and socialite Ann Dexter-Jones and real estate mogul Laurence Ronson and he is brother to Designer, Charlotte Ronson and Singer/DJ Samantha Ronson.
