Iceberg F/W '09

The High Fashion Cartoon Kingpin, Iceberg have seemed to
make their return to the runway for Fall/Winter 2009 with a
new take on their old style. The mix of the garments with
cartoon characters and those without help bring the label
back to an adult perspective as well as the wide array of
materials and silhouettes used. I also like how Paolo Gerani
(The Designer) managed to stretch out some of the bodies of
the cartoon characters and make them look like abstract
designs. Also making this collection a successful one are; the
hard denim jeans, the herringbone trousers, the plastic jackets,
the oversized scarfs and the overall color palette. Iceberg has
made a much-needed and deserved comeback. My favorite
look would have to be the second one.
