Johan Goransson by Junji Hata for POPEYE May 2010

Johan Goransson has been photographed by Junji Hata and styled by Tomoki Sukezane to appear in two editorials for POPEYE Magazines May 2010 issue. The titles of the editorials are, A Legend of a Brit and the other is Accessory Revolution. Johan reminds me of female supermodel Agyness Deyn because they both have very interchangeable looks. Johan in these images could easily be mistaken for 3 different models. My favorite look is definitely the second one, I NEED to get my hands on that studded shirt from Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Posting this made me remember that I was photographed some time last spring or summer for a street style photo to appear in Popeye magazine. I totally forgot about it and never went to get the issue and I'm not even sure if the photo got into the mag.

"The Nomad of the Golden Sand" Editorial

Photographer Mariano Vivanco and stylist Nicola Formichetti have worked together yet another time. This time for an editorial entitled The Nomad of the Golden Sand for Vogue Hommes Japan Vol 4. The editorial features Ford model, Alejandro Rodriguez escaping reality for a rich day in the sun, layered with ornate accessories. The labels amongst the images include Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Bernard Willhelm, Lanvin, Osklen, Vivienne Westwood and Moncler. I enjoyed viewing this editorial. Whenever I see an editorial using all these colors, it just makes me smile. And not to mention that beach! That is where I want to be right now. The more I look at this editorial, the more I like it. My favorite looks are the first, second and third. Remarkable work.

Giuliano Fujiwara 2010 F/W Accessories

I have had a love for Giuliano Fujiwara's footwear, clothing and accessories for quite some time now but it was not until recently that I gained the same amount of love for his jewelry as well. One of my close friends, Dashawn Mercado showed me these images of the Fall/Winter 2010 accessories line and I felt obligated to post them on here. I can honestly say that I love everything. From the necklaces to the cuff bracelets and the glasses, EVERYTHING is amazing and a MUST HAVE. Only Fujiwara would design necklaces to replace or cover the lapel or a jacket, collar of a shirt and cuffs of a shirt and not to mention those glasses. This is the innovation that fashion needs right now. I want it all!

"The American Experience" Editorial

This editorial, photographed by David Sims and styled by Tonne Goodman entitled The American Experience for Vogue US May 2010 takes us on a trip through time to many iconic eras in American History. I love the fact that some of my favorite models (Chanel Iman, Daria Werbowy, Lara Stone, Sasha Pivovarova and Raquel Zimmermann) are featured in this. Also featured are, Kasia Struss, Patricia van der Vliet, Liya Kebede, Karlie Kloss, Frida Gustavsson and Mirte Maas. My favorite images would have to be the two of Chanel Iman as the flapper (the second and last images). I just have a ridiculous love for the 1920's and 1950's. Although the 50's aren't shown here, I just thought you might like to know that :-).

Iconic Iman

The supermodel, actress, activist, fashion designer and head of her own global beauty company, Iman has been honored with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award. Although the actual award ceremony will be held on June 7th at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, on March, 17th Nadja Swarovski and Diane von Furstenberg announced the nominees and honorees for the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards at the DVF studio in NYC's Meat Packing District. The video above is a short clip of a longer video available here. In the video Iman invites FashionAir into her New York City home as she flips through a few pages of her book and speaks about how she began modeling and the main reason why she started her own beauty company, Iman Cosmetics. A very inspiring woman with a remarkable story. Iman is 54 years old and still looks exactly the same.

Names in order of appearance; David Agbodji, Salieu Jalloh, Nate Gill, Oraine Barrett, Mike VanMuers, Ibrahim Baaith and André Douglas. To see the rest of the images (about 8 more) click here.
